It's All About Radio
The first week in march was a crazy one, my school has just had a new building built worth 7 million pounds and it was called Emmeline Pankhurst the famous suffragette and British political leader, so when the campaigns for the race for number 10 kicked off, colliding with the new buildings official opening there was a lot of media interest in the school! So being my first general election I could vote and having my head of sixth form as my geography teacher I was quickly roped into doing a radio interview on city talk that was being pre- recording for the Sundays political show. It was sooo scary, I was so nervous but after 10 minutes it was all-over, and I actually enjoyed it! I was then roped into a live interview on BBC Radio Merseyside the following Friday which was even more daunting! But Me, Patrice and Sophie got through it and it was really good! After we went off air the radio presenter invited us down to the radio headquarters in the city centre, as we did the interview in school, to check the place out and see what happens to go into each radio show! So you never know this could be the start of a radio career ahahaha!
