It's All About London Strike Three

On February the 3rd Brad and I celebrated our first year anniversary, So to celebrate we went for a weekend away in London with our Polaroid camera at the ready! Setting of getting the late night train after sixth form and uni on the Friday we collapsed into bed getting to the room after 10pm. Getting up early on the Saturday knowing we only had two days to fit in all the sites. We started with the British Museum, the week before we had gone to see 'Night In The Museum 3' which was set in the British Museum, we where itching to get there and see some of the artifacts we had in the film, to find when we arrived everything in the film was fictional! The only thing that wasn't where two Asian china pottery elephants, which in the film where life size, however in real life they where the size of pound coins! Apart from seeing the famous Rosetta Stone it was rather disappointing :( After getting lost a few times trying to get out of the British museum we found our selves in front of Big Ben and Houses of Parliament, so we had a little nose round and made our way over to the London Eye!!!! Which was awesome, we got on at the perfect time, it was dusk and by the time we where at the top the city was alive with lights in the dark for miles on end!
On the Sunday we went to my favorite place in the world... THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM!!! This was Brads first ever visit and fortunately he had a expert tour guide with him ahaha, we did everything from the Vault, The Dinosaur exhibit and say goodbye to Dippy as it may be the last time we see here grace the grand hall of the museum. After grabbing lunch in the V&A, we headed to Leicester square and had a pit stop in M&M world, which was one of the highlights of the trip! Four floors of M&M madness with loads of picture opportunities and a lot of sweets to buy, where time flies and "oh M&M world looks good should we pop in for half an hour" turns into two hours later, 50 photos, two mugs and sweets being bought! So by the time we got to Piccadilly circus it was dark so the screens looked amazing, and to finish the trip off we walked down the mall to Buckingham palace from Trafalgar square which was beautiful!
Had such a wonderful weekend and cant believe how quick time has flown, a year has just gone in a blink of an eye! Thanks for being my best friend Brad!
