It's All About The Open Golf Championship

The 2014 Open Golf Championships where held at The Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake, which is about an hours drive form where we live! With it being so close, considerably cheap and something new to see, me, Brad, Lewis and Ben went on the very sunny Tuesday! I cant lie much like football I didn't have a clue what was going on, but the lads did so the whole day was full of things that I didn't really understand, but it was such a great day, it was nice doing something a little different and learning new things about a sport I have now became interested in! The atmosphere was another thing to behold in its self, people where really hyped and it rubbed off on everyone! By about 2 in the afternoon it had got that hot that we went to the final hole as there where stands with seats, where stayed for about 2 hours just sun bathing and watching players practice the final hole, Brad and Lewis also went down to the bottom of the stands and caught golf balls the players throw up after they have finished which was such a cool memento of the day! All in All if you ever get the chance to go to The Open take the chance, and go on a practice day even if you not a fan of golf you wont be disappointed! The regret we all had was not taking sun screen!
