It's All About A trip to Burnley

On my Duke of Edinburgh leadership course I met Alex he is from Burnley and had done the same as me gone from bronze to gold and wondered if they was life after gold! We where out in the same groups and became close, talking about bird amusement parks and our joint hatred of pheasants! So when we had qualified we all promised to stay in touch, a few months later Alex was starring in a play, 'The importance of being Earnest', So me and brad took a road trip to Burnley to see Alex! The play was so gooooood everyone was incredible! I had always wanted to see the importance of being Earnest, but I never thought it would be so funny! It was also brads first experience of live theatre, so he picked a great play to start with, but we will have to try and top it now! Alex was beyond awesome as Algernon, in some of the best blazers I have ever seen! And before we left we had to take a picture with the famous punto Penelope ahaha! Well done Alex can't wait to see you soon old chum!
