It's All About The Leadership Course

Only went and passed my Duke of Edinburgh’s leadership course and now I am a qualified leader! I had such an amazing experience, never met people like it, such genuinely warm hearted individuals that are there to give back to students who want the chance to take part in D of E and take so much from it like I did! The wonderful people I had the pleasure to walk with made the four weekends incredible, I couldn’t imagine what it would have been like without them all! I know have so many inside joke rolling about and have learnt so many things like how to actually take a proper bearing now, however I learnt so many things from the people around me, all their party tricks, and their quirky stories, I also learnt how to hold a fake smoking pipe properly, which apparently I took to pretty well! But thank you to the amigos you were the best! From team attack, team Pheasant, team phone box and finally team sted head sheep. I am devastated it’s over the funniest four weekends ever and I am super sad it’s at an end but will be seeing eachother all soon if not hopefully see you on the hills one day! And it’s true what they say there really is life after gold! Just can’t wait now to get stuck in and start helping others get the best out of the opportunity and enjoy it as much as I have and still am!
