It's All About The Run Up To Christmas

I don’t know if you have noticed but apparently it’s getting pretty close to Christmas now! I have to admit I love the run up to Christmas more than the actual day its self! Who doesn’t love having chocolate from their advent calendar for breakfast,wrapping gifts (which I think I have smashed this year, as my previous wrapping skills have been awful), all the Christmas adverts, Christmas songs (most of them) and all the hype in school! Also just to drop it in our group finally won the Christmas school quiz this year ahaha, the prize of a box of celebrations between the 14 of us had been long awaited! I also have a fondness for Christmas lights in the city centre, in the cold weather and all the beautiful lights hanging from the shops, and Liverpool has done a pretty good job this year. This year I have a job in retail, so the Christmas run up has been a little different, for one it started in October, I was also a little apprehensive as you hear some stories of customers not being their kindest when there in their own Christmas rush, but I have to say I have enjoyed every person I have encountered, and there is something about this time of year in a department store the staff are a lot jollier!
